Motorsport Engineering Meets E-Cargo Design

Since introducing our 3D Printing Service earlier this year, we have been privileged to work on some inspiring projects, including this innovating e-bike solution from Komodo Bikes.

Komodo has taken the latest motorsport engineering to completely recreate a cargo bike fit for today’s cities.
Taking inspiration from race cars, Komodo is constructed from a single shell frame. Increasing strength, reliability and payload, without compromising handling.
Designed and manufactured in Great Britain, minimising environmental impact and allowing Komodo to work closely with the world leading experts in automotive engineering based in the Midlands.

Every material and manufacturing process has been chosen to create the most sustainable e-cargo bike available. Komodo’s strong and lightweight frame is built in the UK to reduce its carbon footprint. It uses a recyclable flax-base composite, that takes far less energy to produce than metal frames, plus cork handlebars and hydraulic vegetable oil, Komodo strive to lower their impact on the planet.
