Description
The first step in any CNC conversion of a machine tool should be the replacement of your leadscrews with good quality preloaded ballscrews.
Having done this to our own machine and identified good value suppliers, we are now able to offer our bespoke design to all. The ballscrews have been designed as a direct replacement of the screws on the X and Y axis. It is assumed that the user would wish to retain their autofeed so the right hand side has the extension incorporated. C5 Accuracy spec allows 0.018mm error per 300mm. The screws come with matched single ballnuts that have a heavy prelaod as needed for machine tool applications.
If you do not have the autofeed and only want to attach cranks, please let us know.
All ballscrews are designed in the UK but manufactured abroad. They will be accompanied by a certificate of accuracy.
As we do not hold stock to ensure costs are low, lead times may vary depending on the workload at the factory. Typical delivery lead time is 4 weeks, but we will advise you at the time of ordering.
We can also supply C3 ballscrews on request and assciated lead time.
